Who knew pregnancy looked this good ? This is my sister and she is due in two weeks. We all can’t wait…She’s having my parents first granddaughter. I love her and am so excited to see this new little addition to her family…Not to mention baby pictures…Whoohoo!

I feel so lucky to have been able to take pictures of such a beautiful bride. Elwen is from China and is one of the top tennis players in the country. (A woman after my own heart) She is not only talented and gorgeous but a wonderful person too. I have had the chance to spend quite a bit of time with her over the past week and can’t wait to take pictures at her wedding in a few days. Congratulations Elwen!

Apple Orchards

I took the boys up to see my sister the other day and drove past this gorgeous apple orchard. Even though the boys were just in their play clothes and cowboy hats, I had to stop and snap a few shots. Lucky for me that we did…as you can see, in the back of the orchard sat a family of deer. The boys were so excited about them, that all I got were some cute shots from behind. They were not interested in having their backs to the deer, which ended up being ok because I love, love, love, love, love how they turned out! Pictures really do capture moments and this is one I’m glad got captured!

Initiation Complete!

What do I even say about this great family other than I LOVE THEM! We had so much fun on both of our shoots. One on the beach, the other up in the California Poppy Reserve. Along the way, I was officially initiated into the family. Woohoo! (I had secretly been hoping for that for several months). True friends seem to be so few and far between so I feel lucky to have found them. They really are spectacular and make the world a better place just by being in it. Can’t wait to see you again. New Talent…The Honking Goose!

I love this fun family! We took pictures by a great pond at Bridgeport up in Valencia. Along with taking pictures, I taught the kids how to make geese calls. Well, I bribed them into thinking they were actual geese calls in order to get them to smile. We had a lot of fun with each other (and the geese, who mysteriously would swim away anytime the “calls” were made). It’s amazing what you’ll do as a photographer in order to get a smile. It’s a good thing I know this family well. They will always be great family friends! Here’s a little preview…your pictures are in the mail.

Well, she’s here and she couldn’t be cuter. As I edited these fun pictures I couldn’t help but want a girl. How fun to have bows and ribbons and tights and dresses. I’m sure going to miss this fun family and seeing their kids grow up. The first four pictures are when she is 9 days old and the last two - she’s a month. She’s getting cuter by the day!

I love this fun family. We both moved to Santa Monica at the same time last year and have been friends ever since. Their little boy is absolutely adorable and a great playmate for my little ones. I only wish I looked this good eight months pregnant! Can’t wait to take baby pictures!

Romance in the Air!

I am so behind on posting pictures…My sister-in-law got married last month and these are a few of the hundreds of pictures I took of her and her now husband around the time they got engaged. I’ve posted a few of my favorites. I wish I could post them all but that would mean literally having to post two hundred. We had so much fun taking them. I feel so lucky to be related to such a great girl and now an equally as neat guy. Here’s to many more photo shoots throughout the rest of our lives!

Being Eight is Great!

Is this not the most beautiful eight year old you’ve ever seen? I was so excited to be able to take her baptism pictures. We headed up to the Los Angeles Temple and had a great time. She was the perfect little model. So cooperative and elegant. Thanks for letting me be apart of such a special day!
